Carboxy Therapy Facial

A NON-INVASIVE CARBOXYTHERAPY FACIAL Skin rejuvenating, anti-ageing and tightening treatment.

What is a carboxytherapy treatment facial?

It’s a non-invasive Carboxytherapy is a procedure during which a gas–carbondioxide(CO²), is infused to the skin.  Carbondioxide is a gas that is naturally released from our organism during the process of breathing and as such it cannot cause allergic or any other unwanted reactions.

Carboxytherapy is used very successfully in various programs for collagen and elastin stimulation and therefore for tissue tightening and lightening, reduction of dark bags under the eyes.

What is the principle of Carboxytherapy treatment?

By infusing carbon dioxide to the skin, an acidic environment develops which signals our organism to secure oxygen to the tissue in the treated region and accumulate natural growth factors (vascular endothelial growth factors).  In several days after the treatment there is an increased natural distribution of oxygen in the places of application, a completely new microcirculation is created, lymphoid drainage is increased and in this way skin regeneration is achieved in a natural way

What is Carboxytherapy treatment like?

During the treatment, and with the help of a gel and activator mask, a specific amount of gas is infused to the skin. During the treatment the client/patient can feel a slight tingling (I think it must be like putting you face in a bowl of Rice Krispies!)  and the treated area becomes mildly red due to suddenly deposited oxygen. Already after 5 minutes after the treatment has ended, the carbon dioxide applied to the skin is completely replaced with oxygen. The client/patient can go back to their usual activities after treatment and no recovery or down-time is required.

How many Carboxytherapy treatments are required?

Depending on the desired results it usually takes between 4 to 8 treatments of non-invasive carboxytherapy and the treatments can be conducted once every 7 to 14 days. Carboxytherapy treatment effect is cumulative–every following treatment increases the result of the one before
